Summary

PlanIt is a local-only calendar. It does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you create — events, notes, colors, reminders and settings — stays on your device. There are no accounts, no cloud sync, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. The app has no internet access.

Information we collect

We do not collect any personal data. PlanIt does not gather, send, or store your information on any server. The app does not request an INTERNET permission and cannot transmit data off your device. The content you create (event titles, notes, dates and times, colors, reminders, and preferences) is stored locally on your device only, in the device's private app storage.

Permissions we use

• Notifications – to show reminders for your events.
• Alarms & reminders (exact alarms) – to deliver event reminders at the correct time.
• Run at startup – to restore your scheduled reminders after the device restarts.
• Files you choose (import/export) – when you export or import a calendar (.ics) file, the app uses the system file picker and only reads or writes the specific file you select. PlanIt does not browse or access any other files on your device.

How your data is used

Your data is used only to display your calendar, show reminders, and provide the features you interact with — entirely on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else.

Data sharing

We do not share, sell, or disclose your data to any third party. PlanIt contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.

Data retention and deletion

Your data remains on your device until you delete it. You can delete individual events within the app, or uninstall PlanIt, which removes all of the app's data from your device. Any calendar file you export with the .ics feature is saved to the location you choose and is then under your control.

Children's privacy

PlanIt does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app contains no data collection, advertising, or external content.

Security

Because your data never leaves your device and is stored in the app's private storage, it is protected by your device's own security (such as your screen lock and the operating system's app sandbox).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
